Setting up payment plugin for WooCommerce

<span class="u-richtext-counter">1</span> In Allpay go to <span class="u-richtext-element">Settings</span> ➙ <span class="u-richtext-element">Integrations</span> ➙ <span class="u-richtext-element">WordPress</span> and create an API login/key pair.

<span class="u-richtext-counter">2</span> Install Allpay Payment Gateway plugin and insert the created login and key into its settings.

Installment payments

The Allpay plugin supports installment (tashlumim) payments. In the plugin settings, you can:

• Set a minimum cart total at which installments become available for a custome

• Limit the maximum number of installments the customer can choose.

VAT management

The plugin uses the WooCommerce tax settings. To ensure that prices are displayed correctly:

1. In the WooCommerce settings, open the “Tax” tab and make sure that the option indicating that product prices already include VAT is selected.
2. In the tax rate settings, set the rate to 18% for Israel (country code: IL) and 0% for all other countries (use an asterisk instead of a country code).
3. In each product’s settings, mark the product as “Taxable,” meaning that tax applies to it.

If your store is registered in Eilat or sells only abroad, do not add any tax set a zero VAT rate for Israel too.

Payment currency

The <span class="u-richtext-element">Payment currency</span> parameter in the plugin settings defines the currency in which the payment is processed. If the product price on the website is set in a different currency, it will be automatically converted to the selected payment currency.

The default payment currency is ILS. Before selecting USD or EUR, make sure the corresponding currency module is enabled in your Allpay account: <span class="u-richtext-element">Settings</span> ➙ <span class="u-richtext-element">Payment modules</span> ➙ <span class="u-richtext-element">USD & EUR</span>.

Teudat Zehut field

The <span class="u-richtext-element">Teudat zeut field</span> setting in the plugin allows you to control whether the Teudat Zehut input field is shown on the payment page. The field can be displayed for all customers, only for customers from Israel, or hidden for all customers.

If the <span class="u-richtext-element">Only for customers from Israel</span> option is selected, the field will be shown only to customers who selected Israel as their country during checkout. For customers from other countries, the field will be hidden.
