Google Pay in Allpay: accept payments for your business in Israel
Allpay has added support for Google Pay — a fast way to pay using a bank card saved to a Google Account. Israeli businesses and entrepreneurs can now accept Google Pay payments on Allpay checkout pages.
How Google Pay works
After activating the module, the Google Pay button will appear on the checkout page alongside Apple Pay and Bit. Customers will not need to manually enter their card number, expiration date, or other payment details: they can use a card already saved to their Google Account.
Google Pay is available to Android users, as well as customers paying from a computer using a card saved to their Google Account. The customer simply selects Google Pay, confirms the payment method, and completes the purchase.
Where you can accept Google Pay payments
Google Pay works on Allpay checkout pages and payment links. The button is also available for payments created on a merchant’s website through integrations with Allpay.
This makes it possible to accept Google Pay in online stores, online booking systems, educational platforms, and other services connected to Allpay.
Developers can also embed the Google Pay button directly into a website using Hosted Fields. Customers can complete their payment without being redirected to a separate Allpay page. To enable this option, the website domain must be verified by Google, and the resulting Google Merchant ID must be added to the Hosted Fields settings in the Allpay account.
Google Pay fees
Google Pay payments are charged at the same rates as regular card payments. There is no additional fee for using Google Pay and no monthly charge.
A one-time activation fee of ₪50 applies when the module is first activated. This fee covers the development and ongoing support of the integration.
How to activate Google Pay in Allpay
You can activate Google Pay in your Allpay account: Settings → Payment modules → Google Pay
Once activated, the Google Pay button will automatically appear on eligible checkout pages. No additional development or changes to existing integrations are required for standard Allpay checkout pages.
